Gina Pugliese RN. Vice President of Premier Safety Institute.
In addition to her role as vice president of Premier Safety Institute, Ms. Pugliese is an associate faculty member of the Rush University College of Nursing and an adjunct faculty member of the University of Illinois School of Public Health, both in Chicago. Her prior positions include director of safety for the American Hospital Association and committee appointments with the Food and Drug Administration, the CDC, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration and the National Quality Forum. Ms. Pugliese has authored more than 140 publications, and, in 2005, the Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America established a scholarship in her name.
