The effect of his leadership is evident in the advancements St. Joseph has accomplished under his tenure: The hospital implemented a multi-million dollar expansion, enhanced patient and employee experience and became one of the first critical access hospitals in Minnesota to develop a hospitalist program. Prior to joining St. Joseph’s, Mr. Koppelman served as administrator of Albany (Minn.) Area Hospital and Medical Center, also part of Catholic Health Initiatives of Englewood, Colo.
