Kenneth West, COO of Medical Center of Trinity (Fla.)
Mr. West, 30, was named COO of Medical Center of Trinity, a Nashville, Tenn.-based Hospital Corporation of America hospital, in February 2014. Before then, he served as associate COO at HCA-affiliated Chippenham/Johnson Willis Medical Center in Richmond, Va. Mr. West’s ties to HCA go back to 2008, when he served as administrative resident, assistant administrator and co-ethics and compliance operator. He was also a founding administrator for Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center in Fredericksburg, Va. Mr. West received the HCA Corris Boyd Scholarship — given to two minority students to pursue a master’s degree in healthcare management — and received his degree in health systems administration from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C.
