Wright Lassiter III. President and CEO of Henry Ford Health System (Detroit).As the leader of Henry Ford Health System, Mr. Lassiter oversees a $5.5 billion, six-hospital health system that employs 28,000 people across 60 clinical locations. Since being appointed CEO in December 2014, Mr. Lassiter has helped facilitate two successful mergers — one with Allegiance Health in Jackson, Mich., and the other with the Flint, Mich.-based health plan HealthPlus of Michigan — generating $1 billion in revenue for the system. Mr. Lassiter earned his master’s degree in healthcare administration from Indiana University in Bloomington, where he finished No. 1 in his class.
