Steven Goldstein. President and CEO of Strong Memorial Hospital (Rochester, N.Y.). Mr. Goldstein joined Rochester General Hospital in 1982 as executive vice president and director of operations. He was promoted to president and CEO in 1993 and assumed duties as senior vice president of Greater Rochester Health System in 1995 before accepting the role of to executive director and COO of Strong Memorial Hospital in 1996. He now leads Strong Memorial Hospital, part of UR Medicine, as president and CEO. Mr. Goldstein is responsible for directing the 739-bed hospital’s operations as well as the managed care activities for Strong and University of Rochester Medical Center affiliates.
