Russ Johnson. President and CEO of Lawrence (Kan.) Memorial Hospital. Mr. Johnson brought 30 years of healthcare senior leadership to his role as president and CEO of Lawrence Memorial in August 2016. Prior to joining Lawrence Memorial Hospital, Mr. Johnson served as senior vice president of network development and outreach for Englewood, Colo.-based Centura Health System. He also spent 12 years as a member of the board of directors for the Colorado Hospital Association and sat on the American Hospital Association board for three years. In 2007, AHA recognized Mr. Johnson with the organization’s Shirley Ann Munroe Leadership Award, which honors a healthcare executive for improving care delivery at a small or rural hospital through innovative efforts.
