Randy Oostra. President and CEO of ProMedica (Toledo, Ohio). Mr. Oostra is the president and CEO of ProMedica, a health system that employs 15,000 people and 800 providers across 300 sites, including 12 hospitals. Prior to taking on the top spot at ProMedica in 2009, Mr. Oostra served as the health system’s regional vice president, corporate vice president of strategic business development and COO. He is a member of the American Hospital Association Regional Policy Board and a fellow with the American College of Healthcare Executives, in addition to serving on the Governor’s Advisory Council on Healthcare Payment Innovation. In 2016, Mr. Oostra began a three-year term on the American Hospital Association board, where he shares his expertise, particularly related to the social determinants of healthcare, to make an impact on health and wellness at the national level.
