Marna Borgstrom. President and CEO of Yale New Haven (Conn.) Health System and CEO of Yale New Haven Hospital. Ms. Borgstrom’s first introduction to healthcare was as a unit secretary at Stanford (Calif.) Medical Center. Several decades later, she helms a $4.5 billion health system with roughly 24,000 employees. In addition to her executive role at YNHHS and YNHH, Ms. Borgstrom has served on the boards of many national and local organizations, such as VHA, the Council of Teaching Hospitals and the Connecticut Hospital Association. In honor of her commitment to public health, Ms. Borgstrom has received many accolades, including ADL’s Torch of Liberty Award and YMCA’s Women in Leadership Award.
