Lloyd Dean. President and CEO of Dignity Health (San Francisco). In 2000, Mr. Dean joined Dignity Health, the fifth largest health system in the U.S. serving 22 states. Mr. Dean’s commitment to achieving health equity for all is evident throughout his more than 25 years in healthcare administration. A passionate advocate for healthcare reform, Mr. Dean was actively engaged with the White House Cabinet on healthcare issues during Obama’s administration and directly participated in healthcare reform discussions with the former president during the formation of the Affordable Care Act. In California, Mr. Dean also leads the State Health Care Cost Commission, a group devoted to containing healthcare costs.
