Kenneth Davis, MD. President and CEO of Mount Sinai Health System (New York). A licensed psychiatrist, Dr. Davis became CEO of Mount Sinai Medical Center in 2003 and implemented a significant financial turnaround. Through his exemplary leadership, Dr. Davis established a culture of accountability that earned the hospital a spot among the nation’s top 20 hospitals by U.S. News & World Report in 2009 — a ranking it earned again in 2017. In 2009, Yale University presented Dr. Davis with the George H. W. Bush ’48 Lifetime of Leadership Award.
