John Haupert. President and CEO of Grady Health System (Atlanta). Mr. Haupert first came to Grady Health System in 2011 and has since led a financial and cultural turnaround. During his tenure, the hospital revamped its revenue cycle management system, adopted an EHR and renovated the emergency department. Last year, Grady Health System recorded $44.3 million in profits. Prior to joining Grady, Mr. Haupert was executive vice president and COO of Dallas-based Parkland Health and Hospital System and spent three years as executive vice president for corporate services and business development for Dallas-based Methodist Health System. Throughout his career, Mr. Haupert has been active in professional organizations, previously serving as chairman of the Dallas/Fort Worth Hospital Council and director of the Texas Hospital Association Political Action Committee.
