Jim Kirkbride. CEO of Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital (El Dorado, Kan.). After conducting a national search for a new CEO, the board of trustees at Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital announced the hiring of Mr. Kirkbride in 2016. He oversees the 74-bed nonprofit hospital’s 400-plus employees covering services in the acute care medical facility, emergency department, cancer center and dialysis center. Prior to joining the El Dorado, Kan.-based hospital, Mr. Kirkbride served as assistant vice president of ancillary and support services at Bend, Ore.-based St. Charles Health System for two years. While there, he was credited with facilitating a financial turnaround through improving the utilization of existing services and implementing new service lines.
