Eric Barber. President and CEO of Mary Lanning Healthcare (Hastings, Neb.). Mr. Barber started his career as a certified nursing assistant, an experience that solidified his commitment and dedication to healthcare. He took the helm at Mary Lanning Healthcare in 2013 after the health system went nearly a year without a permanent president. Previously, Mr. Barber served as CEO of Kirksville, Mo.-based Northeast Regional Medical Center, where he focused on establishing collaborative relationships with physicians to improve clinician satisfaction and retention at the hospital. He has more than a decade in healthcare leadership experience and received his master’s degree in healthcare administration from University of Kansas in Lawrence.
