Bruce Elegant. President and CEO of Rush Oak Park (Ill.) Hospital. Mr. Elegant holds more than 30 years of healthcare management experience, serving as president and CEO of Rush Oak Park Hospital since 1997. He also acts as vice president for hospital operations at Chicago-based Rush University Medical Center, sits on Rush Health’s Board Finance Committee and serves as an associate professor in Rush University’s department of health systems management in the College of Health Sciences. Prior to joining Rush, he spent 15 years in various leadership positions at the University of Illinois Hospital & Health Sciences System in Chicago. Mr. Elegant is a fellow of the American College of Health Executives and holds a master’s degree in public health from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
