Andrew Mitchell. President and CEO of Peconic Bay Medical Center (Riverhead, N.Y.). After joining Peconic Bay Medical Center as president and CEO in 2001, Mr. Mitchell became the driving force behind Peconic Bay Medical Center’s expansion efforts. PBMC is the 200-bed flagship hospital for PBMC Health, which also includes a 60-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility as well as Peconic Bay Home Health Services. He has previous experience as the executive director of North Shore University Hospital at Forest Hills (N.Y.), and because of his executive track record, the American College of Healthcare Executives recognized Mr. Mitchell with one of its Regent’s Awards. He is also a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
