Fred Hargett. CFO of Novant Health (Winston-Salem, N.C.). Mr. Hargett joined Novant Health in 2003. He served as senior vice president of financial planning, and then executive vice president of finance, before becoming CFO. Prior to joining the system, he was the manager of healthcare consulting at Ernst & Young in Charlotte, N.C. Novant ended its most recent fiscal year with net income of $191.6 million and operating revenue of $4.1 billion — a year-over-year increase of 8.9 percent.
