Michael Israel. President and CEO of Westchester Medical Center Health Network (Valhalla, N.Y.). In August 2005, Mr. Israel took the helm at Westchester Medical Center Health Network, or WMCHealth. He previously served as COO of New Hyde Park, N.Y.-based Long Island Jewish Health System, and has also held positions at Durham, N.C.-based Duke University Hospital. Mr. Israel earned a Master’s of Public Health in hospital administration from Yale University. He is also a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
