John Noseworthy, MD. President and CEO of Mayo Clinic (Rochester, Minn.). Dr. Noseworthy held numerous roles at Mayo Clinic — including chair of Mayo’s department of neurology, medical director of the department of development and vice chair of the Mayo Clinic Rochester executive board — before taking the helm as president and CEO in 2009. In addition, Dr. Noseworthy, a board-certified neurologist who specializes in multiple sclerosis, currently serves as a professor in Mayo’s department of neurology. He served as the American Academy of Neurology’s science committee chair in 2006 and is the editor-in-chief of Neurology, the journal of the American Academy of Neurology.
