Suzanne Anderson. President of Virginia Mason Medical Center and Executive Vice President of Virginia Mason Health System (Seattle). Ms. Anderson began working with Virginia Mason Health System as a billing office consultant in 1986 and grew with the system to eventually take on a top leadership role. After 30-plus years at the system, part of which she simultaneously served as hospital CIO and CFO, Ms. Anderson became the first female president of Virginia Mason Medical Center in June 2016. In addition to her role as hospital president, she serves as executive vice president of the Virginia Mason Health System, which includes two acute care hospitals and more than 500 physicians. In 2016, the health system reported revenue of $979.8 million.
