Johnese Spisso. President of UCLA Health and CEO of UCLA Hospital System. Ms. Spisso was appointed president of UCLA Health, CEO of UCLA Hospital System and vice chancellor of UCLA Health Science in 2016. She previously spent 20 years serving as chief health system officer at Seattle-based UW Medicine, where she helped lead the development of a statewide trauma system. She began her career as a nurse at UPMC Presbyterian before joining UC Davis (Calif.) Medical Center, rising through the ranks to serve as director of critical care and trauma, burn, and emergency services. Ms. Spisso earned her master’s degree in healthcare administration from the University of San Francisco.
