Mary Alice Annecharico, RN. Senior Vice President and CIO of Henry Ford Health System (Detroit). Ms. Annecharico has more than 20 years of experience with transforming clinical and business environments through the use of technology. She stepped into her current role at Henry Ford Health System in December 2011. Previously, she served as CIO at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in Philadelphia and University Hospitals of Cleveland. A fellow in the Health Information Systems Society, Ms. Annecharico also serves as editor for the peer-reviewed Journal of Health Information Management, the digital publication of HIMSS.
