Mark R. Neaman. President and CEO of NorthShore University HealthSystem (Evanston, Ill.). Mr. Neaman, a fellow of the AmericanCollege of Healthcare Executives, has been at the helm of NorthShore University HealthSystem since 1992; however, he has spent his whole career with the system, joining in 1974. Throughout his career with NorthShore, he has received several recognitions of his healthcare leadership prowess: ACHE gave him the Gold Medal Award in 2009 and the Chicago Health Executives Forum gave him its Career Achievement Award in 2014. Under his leadership, NorthShore plans to merge with Advocate Health Care to form Advocate NorthShore Health Partners, and Mr. Neaman will serve as co-CEO of that organization.
