Steven Smith. CIO of NorthShore University HealthSystem (Evanston, Ill.). NorthShore named Mr. Smith CIO in April 2012, after he spent more than 11 years as chief technology officer of the organization. During his tenure, the health system was one of the first in the U.S. to achieve the HIMSS Stage 7 designation.
