Philip Loftus, PhD. Senior Vice President and CIO of SSM Health (St. Louis). Dr. Loftus joined SSM Health as senior vice president and CIO in January 2015. Previously, he was Milwaukee-based Aurora Health Care’s CIO and led the system’s Epic EHR implementation. Dr. Loftus, who earned his doctorate in computer-based modeling and simulation from the University of Liverpool in England, also spent time as senior vice president and co-CIO of Caremark Inc., a subsidiary of CVS Health.
