Jon Burns. Senior Vice President and CIO of University of Maryland Medical System (Baltimore). Mr. Burns, who has 31 years of healthcare experience, joined University of Maryland Medical System in 2006. In the senior vice president and CIO roles, he is responsible for IT service, supply chain and operations strategies for the health system. Prior to his work with University of Maryland Medical System, Mr. Burns was the senior executive of information technology at Cleveland Clinic.
