Doris Peek, PhD. Senior Vice President of Information Technology and CIO of Broward Health (Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.). Dr. Peek has been in her current role as senior vice president and CIO of Broward Health for the last decade. Since 2006, the health system has achieved a 95 percent adoption of computerized physician order processing entry and EHR. The system’s IT department has also almost doubled in size during her tenure.
