David Bensema, MD. CIO of Baptist Health (Louisville, Ky.). Dr. Bensema was appointed CMIO of Baptist Health in 2013. In 2014, he was named CIO of Baptist Health. As CIO, he led Baptist Health’s systemwide Epic EHR implementation. Prior to focusing his career on executive leadership, Dr. Bensema spent 16 years in private practice as an internal medicine physician.
