William Lunn, MD. CEO of Tulane Medical Center (New Orleans). Dr. Lunn’s expertise bridges the spheres of private practice and academic medicine. Prior to accepting the CEO position at Tulane Medical Center in 2014, Dr. Lunn spent five years as COO for the northern Louisiana operations of Irving, Texas-based Christus Health. During his tenure at Christus, Dr. Lunn oversaw improvement in quality metrics and market share gain, and he led a $55 million construction project. Dr. Lunn began his medical career practicing at a pulmonary and critical care practice before joining Houston-based Baylor College of Medicine in 2004, where he helped found the school’s complex airway and pleural disease center.
