Thomas Buchholz, MD. Physician-in-Chief and Executive Vice President of the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. As the executive vice president and physician-in-chief of The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, Dr. Buchholz is responsible for the hospital's clinical faculty and operations. An oncologist by training, Dr. Buchholz also holds the Hubert L. Stringer Distinguished Chair in Oncology at MD Anderson Cancer Center. During his 20-plus years as a practicing clinician, Dr. Buchholz served as division head of the department of radiation oncology and provost of MD Anderson Cancer Center. Dr. Buchholz is a fellow of the American Society for Therapeutic Radiation and American College of Radiology.
