Norvell V. Coots, MD. President and CEO of Holy Cross Health (Silver Springs, Md.). Dr. Coots was named president and CEO of Holy Cross Health, a member of Livonia, Mich.-based Trinity Health, in 2016. As a retired Brigadier General with the U.S. Armed Forces, Dr. Coots previously served as commanding general and CEO of Regional Health Command Europe and a surgeon with the U.S. Army Europe. During his 20-plus years in executive leadership, Dr. Coots has been responsible for hospitals in Germany, Belgium and Italy, and served as CEO of Washington, D.C.-based Walter Reed Health Care System before taking on his current role.
