Neeraj Kanwal, MD. Interim President of ProMedica Defiance (Ohio) Regional Hospital and Senior Vice President of Inpatient and Retail Pharmacy of ProMedica (Toledo, Ohio). Dr. Kanwal became interim president of ProMedica Defiance Regional Hospital in February and continues to maintain his role as senior vice president of inpatient and retail pharmacy at Toledo, Ohio-based ProMedica. He previously served as president of 315-bed ProMedica Flower Hospital in Sylvania, Ohio. During his 15-plus years with ProMedica, Dr. Kanwal has been the vice president of medical affairs at ProMedica Toledo Hospital and vice president and medical director of Paramount Health Care, the system’s 331,000-member health plan.
