Margot Hartmann, MD, PhD. President and CEO of Nantucket (Mass.) Cottage Hospital. Without prior experience in business or hospital administration, Dr. Hartmann took over the top leadership position at Nantucket Cottage Hospital in 2010. At the time of her appointment as president and CEO, the hospital faced roughly $7.5 million in annual losses.
