Larry Goodman, MD. CEO of Rush University Medical Center (Chicago)Dr. Goodman became CEO of Rush University Medical Center in 2002. Under his leadership, RUMC underwent a $1 billion campus transformation that included opening a new hospital in 2012. An infectious disease specialist by training, Dr. Goodman previously served as senior vice president of medical affairs and dean of Rush Medical College. He maintains his passion for public health and education as the James A. Campbell, MD, Distinguished Service Chair of Rush University, along with his contributions as a board member for The CORE Foundation, a public-private venture between Cook County and Rush focused on care for HIV/AIDS and other infectious disease patients.
