Kenneth L. Davis, MD. President and CEO of Mount Sinai Health System (New York City). Dr. Davis spent 10 years as president and CEO of Mount Sinai Medical Center before he was promoted to president and CEO of Mount Sinai Health System in September 2013. When he took the helm at Mount Sinai Medical Center, the hospital was losing millions annually. However, he turned the institution around and after five years of improved financial performance, Moody’s Investor Service gave the hospital an A2 rating; in May 2017, the hospital received an A3 rating. Early in his career, Dr. Davis was responsible for launching Mount Sinai’s research program focused on the biology of schizophrenia and Alzheimer’s disease therapeutics. A fellowship-trained psychiatry and pharmacology physician, Dr. Davis has served as president of the Society of Biological Psychiatry and American College of Neuropsychopharmacology.
