Ihor Sawczuk, MD. President of Hackensack (N.J.) University Medical Center. Dr. Sawczuk was named president of Hackensack Meridian Health’s Hackensack University Medical Center in April 2016 after spending 15 years as chairman of the department of urology. During his time as chairman, Dr. Sawczuk was instrumental in creating oncology and endourology specialized treatment programs. During his 25-plus years as a clinician, Dr. Sawczuk specialized in surgical and immunological management of renal cancer, bladder reconstruction and cryosurgery.
