Howard Federoff, MD. Vice Chancellor for Health Affairs and CEO of UC Irvine (Calif.) HealthDr. Federoff became CEO of UC Irvine Health System in January 2016. He oversees growth and partnerships at the health system’s clinical locations, including UC Irvine Medical Center and Orange, Calif.-based Chao Family Comprehensive Cancer Center. He previously served as executive vice president for health sciences and executive dean of Washington, D.C.-based Georgetown University School of Medicine before joining UC Irvine Health as vice chancellor for health affairs and dean of the School of Medicine in July 2015. As a board-certified internal medicine physician, Dr. Federoff focused his advanced research on gene therapy and neurodegenerative disorders including Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s diseases.
