Charles Peck, MD. President and CEO of Piedmont Athens (Ga.) Regional Health System. Dr. Peck brought more than 35 years of experience as a clinician, scientist, faculty administrator and healthcare leader to his role as president and CEO of Piedmont Athens Regional Health System in March 2015. He oversees the 360-bed nonprofit hospital and a staff of more than 3,300 employees, including physicians and healthcare professionals. Prior to joining Athens Regional, he served as a partner at a global healthcare consulting firm, as CEO of a 150-physician practice and CMO of a startup retail health clinic operator. Dr. Peck’s areas of expertise include health strategy and policy, performance improvement and leadership training.
