Amy Beiter, MD. CEO of Carondelet St. Mary’s Hospital (Tucson, Ariz.). Dr. Beiter became CEO of Carondelet St. Mary’s Hospital in 2012 after spending more than 20 years as a clinician. She also heads the Tucson Chapter of the American Heart Association board of directors and is a fellow of the American College of Physicians. Prior to her appointment as CEO, Dr. Beiter served as the hospital’s medical director for utilization management and CMO. In 2014, Arizona Business Magazine named Dr. Beiter among the most influential women in business.
