A. Marc Harrison, MD. President and CEO of Intermountain Healthcare (Salt Lake City). Dr. Harrison, a pediatric critical care specialist, has served as president and CEO of 22-hospital Intermountain Healthcare since October 2016. He is responsible for overseeing the hospital’s efforts to implement best clinical and operational practices. A pediatric critical care physician by training, he worked primarily in critical care units at Intermountain’s Primary Children’s Hospital during his residency and internship through Salt Lake City-based University of Utah. After completing his medical training, Dr. Harrison joined Cleveland Clinic and gained leadership experience as chairman of pediatric critical care and chief medical operations officer, a role in which he oversaw clinical operations worldwide. He was eventually promoted to chief of international business development for Cleveland Clinic and CEO of Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi before returning to Intermountain Healthcare.
