Bill Gorski, MD. President and CEO of SwedishAmerican Health System (Rockford, Ill.). Dr. Gorski has served as president and CEO of SwedishAmerican Health System since 2001. He also currently serves on the system’s board of directors. He maintained a clinical practice at SwedishAmerican Hospital for 21 years and held a variety of leadership roles, including chair of family medicine, vice president of the hospital’s medical staff, president of SwedishAmerican Medical Group and health system CMO. He is board-certified in family practice medicine and is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American College of Physician Executives.
