Rio Grande Valley Health Alliance (McAllen, Texas). Eighteen members from 16 independent practices participate in the Rio Grande Valley Health Alliance. Founded in 2012, the Track 3 Medicare Shared Savings Program ACO coordinates care for about 5,500 patients in the McAllen area. Rio Grande Valley Health Alliance was one of only four ACOs garnering a 100 percent quality score from CMS in 2015. It recorded shared savings of $6.9 million the same performance year.
