Mercy ACO (Des Moines, Iowa). Mercy Medical Center-Des Moines owns and manages Mercy ACO. Founded in 2012, the organization is comprised of more than 2,000 physicians and 147 healthcare affiliate sites. The ACO includes a Health Coach Program to help patients set and achieve health goals. Mercy Health Network, an integrated system of Iowa-based Mercy affiliated hospitals, also provides management services to MHN Partners ACO, a Medicare Shared Savings Program ACO owned by Waterloo, Iowa-based Covenant Medical Center.
