Johns Hopkins Medicine Alliance for Patients (Glen Burnie, Md.). Baltimore-based Johns Hopkins Medicine launched Johns Hopkins Medicine Alliance for Patients in 2014. The ACO saved more than $5 million during the 2014 performance year and currently serves around 38,000 Medicare patients in Maryland and Washington, D.C. In February 2017, Johns Hopkins Medicine Alliance renewed participation in the Medicare Shared Savings Program.
