Sameer Badlani, MD. Vice President and Chief Health Information Officer of Sutter Health (Sacramento, Calif.). Dr. Badlani serves as the vice president and chief health information officer for Sutter Health, overseeing enterprise clinical informatics, analytics and data management. Dr. Badlani brings an interest in healthcare delivery and driving the value of analytics in the clinical and business workflow to his current position. He has an extensive background in healthcare and IT, serving as the CHIO of Salt Lake City-based Intermountain Healthcare before joining Sutter Health, and CMIO of the University of Chicago Medicine and Biological Sciences before that.
