Michael Archuleta. Director of IT for Mt. San Rafael Hospital (Trinidad, Colo.). Mr. Archuleta is the director of IT for Mt. San Rafael Hospital, a 25-bed critical access hospital, overseeing all the organization’s IT services, including EMR systems and support technology. He is responsible for planning, acquisition, implementation and health IT management. Since becoming director of IT in 2012, Mr. Archuleta designed the hospital’s first data center and added visualization efforts to reduce costs by 56 percent and improve uptime from 79 percent to 99.99 percent.
