Edward Marx. CIO of Cleveland Clinic. Mr. Marx joined Cleveland Clinic as CIO in September 2017, responsible for the health system’s IT strategy. He works closely with the system’s caregivers and clinical partners to improve patient care through innovative technologies. Throughout his more than 25 years in health IT, Mr. Marx built a reputation for leadership, serving as executive vice president of Advisory Board Company and providing IT leadership and strategy for NYC Health + Hospitals. He also spent eight years as CIO of Arlington-based Texas Health Resources and five years as CIO of Cleveland-based University Hospitals.
