Ed McCallister. Senior Vice President and CIO of UPMC (Pittsburgh, Pa.). Mr. McCallister became senior vice president and CIO of UPMC in 2014 after spending 15 years as director, vice president and CIO of UPMC’s insurance services division. In that capacity, he helped build the systems supporting UPMC Health Plan and led the team that developed its original population health platform. In his current role, Mr. McAllister leads the information services division, a team of more than 1,500 individuals. He is also responsible for UPMC’s technology strategy and infrastructure to support clinical care, insurance services, and international and commercial operations.
