Dee Emon, BSN. Vice President and CIO of Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center (Winston-Salem, N.C.). Ms. Emon joined Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in 2014 as chief clinical information officer and was promoted to vice president and CIO in April 2015. She is responsible for the strategic development and management of her division as well as technology systems and process support for the hospital. She has previous experience in quality, services and cost management at Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare and was an examiner on the team assessing hospitals for the Baldrige National Quality Award. A nurse by training, Ms. Emon spent time as the corporate chief nurse executive and quality officer at Cancer Treatment Centers of America.
