David Weiss. Senior Vice President and CIO of BJC HealthCare (St. Louis). Mr. Weiss is responsible for planning, developing and supporting IT initiatives as well as telecommunications for BJC HealthCare as senior vice president and CIO. He joined BJC in 1990 and in his current role oversees a $200 million annual capital and operating budget as well as a staff of 800 professionals. He also co-leads the health system’s Best-In-Class Clinical Quality Initiatives and is chairman of Telecommunication Facilities Corporation, a joint venture between BJC HealthCare and St. Louis-based Washington University School of Medicine focused on providing voice communication services across the Washington University Medical Center campus.
