Margot Hartmann, MD, PhD. President and CEO of Nantucket (Mass.) Cottage Hospital. Dr. Hartmann is board-certified in internal medicine and initially joined Nantucket Cottage Hospital as an internist in 1999. From that time until her appointment to president and CEO in October 2010, she co-led the hospital’s emergency department. Since her appointment she has led a financial turnaround for the hospital and was named Person of the Year by Nantucket Magazine in 2012.
